North Inner City is primarily accessible via rail with the broader region bounded by mainrail, the (DART) Dublin Area Rapid Transit suburban rail system as well as light rail, the (LUAS), with many bus routes also serving this area. The area is also bisected from the south-west to northeast by the North Strand Road, which serves as a main arterial route for traffic to and from the city centre and Malahide, Howth and the M50.
Dublin Bus: North Inner City is served by a number of bus routes operated by Dublin Bus. Those include 123, 7, 7A, 14, 15, 151, 42, 503, 505, 53, N4, 27A, 27B, and H2.
DART: North Inner City is most accessible via rail as it lies on the DART line with Connolly station being located in the centre of this area, located between Tara and Clontarf.
LUAS: The Green line which comes from south Dublin has a final stop at Parnell street which is on the border of the North Inner City area, as well as the Red line which goes from the North Inner City area as far as Tallaght, the stops for this line include, The Point, Spencer Dock, Mayor Square - Nci, George's Dock, Busáras, which are all located along the south border of this area.
