There are four Primary Care centres in the area; Baldoyle Health Centre, Howth Health Centre, Malahide Health Centre, and Portmarnock Primary Care Centre.

Coastal area is served by bus and mainline rail. It covers Baldoyle, Howth, Portmarnock, and Malahide. It lies close or on the coast line, with main roads from central Dublin to the orbital motorway and continuing to the M1.
Bus: H-Spine bus line is a new operation with the H2 and H3 covering Baldoyle & Howth area 7 days a week. Malahide & Portmarnock would require the use of the rail line.
Mainline Rail: With the DART operating towards both Malahide and Howth, which covers the coastal area, while connecting directly to the city centre and further south Dublin and Wicklow if required.
